On Monday, you should have received an email from Tupperware regarding the Active Status requirement increase. If you joined the Monday Night Live, or watched the replay, you also would have heard me explain this.
- Currently a new consultant needs to submit $100 in sales to achieve ACTIVE STATUS.
- Effective August 1st a new consultant will need to submit $150 to achieve ACTIVE STATUS
- Currently to remain ACTIVE a consultant needs to submit orders of $350 in a ROLLING 4 month period
- Effective August 1st, we will each need to submit $450 in a rolling 4 month period. This is an increase of $25 per month
This is the first increase in over a decade to our salesforce minimums, while party averages have continued to climb.
What is a rolling 4 months?
- It’s a snippet showing the current month, and going back 3 months. So, currently we are looking at March-April-May-June.
- Then each month moving forward, we “drop” a month and “add” a month.
- In July we would drop March, add July…so it would be April-May-June-July
- In August we would drop April, add August,,,so it would be May-June-July-August
- For a new consultant, it’s your first 4 months, then you go into “drop a month, add a month
- Then each month moving forward, we “drop” a month and “add” a month.
- The best plan is to be consistent. When you have all $450 in one month and then nothing the next month, once you drop that $450 month, you have a pretty big hole. Striving for $150 per month is the key as it’s easier to keep up than to catch up.
For those of you that are working this as a business, this extra $25 per month is a blip on the radar. Our average sales per consultant last month was over $600.
However, for those of you that are here for the discount, you may find this as a challenge. Again, it’s our first increase in over a decade. While I know you’re excited to just get your Tupperware at a discount, I would like to encourage you to share the weekly specials with your immediate circle of family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Just getting a few of them to go in with you on your orders will allow you to achieve this $150 each month. And the good thing is this…the 25% profit you earn from their orders will help pay for your order!

How do I move from inactive to active?
- As soon as you submit $450 while inactive, you regain active status.
- You can remain inactive for 8 months
- If you do not submit $450 by the end of your 8 months, your account is closed.
