So you’ve finally decided to hold Sales Producing Activities but now you don’t know where to start?  Here’s some word choices to help you out.  A few things to remember-

  • BE SPECIFIC!  WHAT’S IN IT FOR THEM?  Know the host program and let them know what they can get.  I always talk $1000 parties, because you get what you expect!
  • PEOPLE ARE BUSY.  But guess what?  35 years ago, they were busy too.  Back then we actually had to go shopping.  Today at a click you can order groceries and anything you need.  Today they are just busy with different activities.  But I truly believe that people will make time for whatever they deem valuable, important or fun.  So—be prepared.  What will you teach them?  Here’s a few examples:
    • How to put a meal on the table in under ___ minutes.  Depending on the demo, it could be 18-30 minutes
    • How to make your own seasoning blends
    • How to meal prep for an entire week
    • How to save a ton of money on your coffee budget
    • whatever else you are excited about!
  • Maybe it’s not something you’re going to show, but just provide–
    • Sounds like you could use a little girlfriend time.  I’d love to help you get together with your friends for a Sip ‘n Dip.  You provide the sips and we’ll make the dips together!
    • As busy as you and your friends are, they would probably LOVE a Halloween candy Make & Take. For $___, I’ll bring the supplies and everyone can make candy and take them home in some great Tupperware containers.
  • Know when you can schedule an activity.  Just like the dentist office…offer two choices that work for you.  “What would be better, a Thursday night or Saturday afternoon.
