Last year many of you had great success with this.
How does this work?
1-Customers choose how many waterbottles they would like to donate to the classroom you have selected. OR they could choose to select a classroom and enlist other peoples to help.
2-Customers use paypal, venmo, cash app, etc to send you $6 per child they are sponsoring. They may send $6 or $60 or whatever.
3-You order one water bottle per $6 collected. They are sold in sets of 5, so you will need to round up to the next “5” .
4-The money. Someone sends you $60–enough to sponsor 10 students. You order two sets of 5=10 water bottles. Your cost of 10 water bottles is $45. Adding shipping and tax (which varies), the total will be under the $60 you have collected. The difference is your profit. In this example, $60-$53.96=$6.04
This is not a big money maker, but it brings great brand awareness, gives you a connection to the school and you receive sales credit for all the water bottles towards any incentives. Best of all, it insures that all the kids have water bottles to drink…water fountains may not be available to use.
If you feel the need to increase the donation price to $6.50, or $7 you could.
